Samsung moves 150,000 Galaxy S4 LTE-A handsets in two weeks in South Korea

The sun must be shining bright over at Samsung’s HQ in Seoul, for the world’s largest phone manufacturer is riding the high waves once again.

ETNews reported yesterday, that the South Korean titan has moved some 150,000 LTE-Adanced versions of its Galaxy S4 flagship in the frame of 14 days on SK Telecom alone. What’s more, Samsung’s latest winner is the only available smartphone capable of tapping upon the first commercial LTE-Advanced network anywhere in the world, for local rivals LG and Pantech are not expected to ship a counter offering for at least another month (in the case of LG’s G2).

LTE-Advanced putting normal LTE to shame apparently wasn’t enough for Samsung, for the special edition Galaxy S4 also comes with an upgraded processor, running a beast of a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 – quad-core, of course.

Samsung’s latest and greatest is supposed to launch internationally within the next few months, as to an exact date and locale, however, we’re unable to oblige. We will, of course, keep you updated, so stay tuned!
