Well, for registered Apple developers, go ahead and check your settings for a surprise from the Cupertino company! Apple has officially pushed out the sixth beta for iOS 7 to developers. This release once again does not follow the original schedule that the Cupertino company had been following, because it was not launched on a Monday. For the first three beta versions, the company released them each two weeks apart on Mondays, but Beta 4 broke that streak (although that may have been due to the Developer Center being down for almost a week). This release also goes against a rumor earlier today, which claimed that Beta 6 would be released some time next week.
It is not yet known whether this will be the final beta, as rumored before, or if there could be more updates before the Gold Master, which is rumored to drop on September 5th. If you’re a registered Apple developer, or if you’ve downloaded a previous iOS 7 beta version to your iOS device, head on over to Settings>General>Software Update to download the latest beta for yourself.
