Xolo is set to launch its next smartphone, the A500L. The smartphone is now listed on company’s site and appears to be an entry-level offering. As of now, there are no details about the pricing or availability of the Xolo A500L.
The Xolo A500L features a 4-inch WVGA display that has a resolution of 480×800 pixels and boasts a pixel density of 233ppi (pixels per inch). The device is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek 6572 processor with 512MB of RAM and a Mali-400 MP GPU. It includes a 3-megapixel rear camera accompanied by an LED flash and a VGA front facing camera.
The Xolo A500L runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. It also includes 4GB of inbuilt storage that can be expandable up to 32GB with microSD card. It is a dual-SIM device with support for GSM+GSM with dual standby. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, and Micro-USB. Other features include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and AGPS. The Xolo A500L is backed by a 1500mAh battery which according to the listing gives up to 13 hours of talktime, and up to 681 hours of standby time.
Xolo seems to be targeting the budget Android smartphone segment with the A500L. The latest Xolo A500L will be a part of company’s A-series of smartphones that include the Xolo A500, A500S, A700, and A1000.
Another Xolo smartphone, the Q700i, was available online at Rs. 11,999. The Xolo Q700i was the successor to the Q700 smartphone launched back in May this year.
Xolo seems all set to introduce the successor to the Q700 smartphone, as the Q700i has now been listed on Flipkart for Rs. 11,999. The Xolo Q700i is currently listed as out of stock at the online retailer. The domestic handset and tablet manufacturer has yet to officially announce the Xolo Q700i in India.
