The highlight of the yet-to-be-announced Micromax Canvas Power is its large 4000mAh battery, which according to the official listing delivers up to 5.5 hours of talktime and up to 450 hours of standby time. The Micromax Canvas Power (A96) is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box.

It comes with a 5-inch TFT display with a resolution of (FWVGA) 480×854 pixels. The Canvas Power is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK 6582M processor with 512MB of RAM. The Canvas Power features 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there no word on the front-facing camera. On the connectivity front, the Canvas Power includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth.

The smartphone also comes with some preloaded apps such as Games (Bubble X Slice and Catch a Mouse), Kingsoft, Hike, Opera Mini and M! Live.

Earlier in February, Micromax launched the Bolt A37 budget smartphone for the Indian market. The Micromax Bolt A37 comes with identical specifications to the Bolt A37B listed on company’s site on recently with price.
